How LCL consolidation works
- Pickup in Colombia — we collect your cargo in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali or Barranquilla.
- Consolidation at our CFS — your cargo shares a container with other exporters; you pay only for your volume.
- Export customs — DEX filed with DIAN, Certificate of Origin issued under the FTA.
- Ocean transit — 12–18 days sailing from Cartagena or Buenaventura to Miami.
- US clearance and delivery — formal CBP entry at 0% duty, deconsolidation at our own Miami warehouse, final delivery anywhere in the USA.
When LCL beats FCL and air freight
LCL is the right mode when you ship between 1 and 13 m³: below that, air courier is usually faster for similar money; above it, a full container (FCL) becomes cheaper per cubic meter. For Amazon FBA sellers and e-commerce brands replenishing US inventory, LCL hits the sweet spot — one consolidated import, one customs entry, zero per-order customs cost.
